Společnost Apple ve svém druhém rozšiřovacím kole za měsíc srpen přidalo desítky nových platebních společností, mezi kterými nechybí ani velké banky. Obyvatelé USA tak mohou používat tuto platební službu téměř kdekoliv.
Když v roce 2014 přišla nová platební služba od společnosti Apple, měla pouze hrstku partnerů a to pouze ve Spojených státech. Od té doby se ovšem služba rozšířila do více než tisíce platebních společností. Služba také opustila jeden kontinent a rozšířila se do Velké Británie, Kanady, Austrálie, Číny, Hong Kongu, Singapuru, Francie a Švýcarska.
